Jascha Ephraim

Released in 2004 under the Exotic Recordings label, this self-titled CD captures the musical output of Jascha Ephraim during a period of independent electronic and experimental music production. The project reflects the sonic landscape of the early 2000s underground scene, where artists often utilized evolving digital software to blend ambient textures with rhythmic experimentation. The work represents a focused effort to establish a unique aesthetic identity within the niche electronic market of the era.

The design and production of this CD align with the standard practices of independent record labels from the mid-2000s, prioritizing a minimalist visual presentation that emphasizes the auditory experience. While the release did not receive mainstream critical distribution, it remains a documented entry in the catalog of Exotic Recordings. It serves as a representative artifact of the diy-ethos that defined independent electronic music circles during this timeframe, documented primarily through small-press music databases and archival record listings.
