Where it came from
Naše Prvo Vandranje was released in 2004 under the Mandarina label, representing the debut studio work of the Slovenian musical group Vandrovci. The album emerged during a period when the label was actively curating a roster of performers focused on traditional folk and popular regional music, seeking to capture the energetic, community-oriented spirit of local folk performance for a wider audience.
The album's design and track selection reflect the group's commitment to preserving and revitalizing folk heritage through contemporary arrangements. While the specific personnel behind the visual design remain largely undocumented in public archives, the aesthetic approach followed the standard industry practice of the time for independent folk releases, emphasizing a clear, accessible identity that leaned into the rustic and celebratory themes intrinsic to the band's musical persona.
