Une Belle Histoire - Classical Lounge With Rivièra Maison

Une Belle Histoire - Classical Lounge With Rivièra Maison was released in 2007 as a curated promotional compilation. The project was commissioned by the Dutch interior design brand Rivièra Maison to reflect their signature aesthetic, which often blends rustic, colonial, and cozy design elements with a sense of European elegance. By releasing a branded musical accompaniment, the company sought to extend their brand identity beyond physical furniture and home decor into the sensory atmosphere of their customers' living spaces.

The selection features a blend of classical compositions reimagined with lounge and downtempo sensibilities, aimed at creating a tranquil, sophisticated backdrop suitable for retail showrooms or home interiors. As a non-commercial release not intended for mainstream music retail, it reflects the marketing trend of the mid-2000s where lifestyle brands utilized bespoke music curation to foster brand loyalty and communicate a specific luxury lifestyle to their clientele.
