We Won't Let You Down

We Won't Let You Down serves as the second studio album by the French indie-rock trio Théodore, Paul & Gabriel, released in 2015 under the Belleville Music label. Following their debut, the band sought to refine their blend of folk-inflected rock, moving toward a more polished production style that emphasized vocal harmonies and melodic guitar arrangements. The album captures the group's transition during their active mid-2010s period, reflecting a cohesive aesthetic that aimed to balance intimate acoustic songwriting with a driving, contemporary rock pulse.

The album's creative direction was closely tied to the trio's signature sound, which frequently drew comparisons to classic 1970s rock and Americana. By 2015, the band had already established a presence in the French music scene, and this release was intended to broaden their appeal through tighter song structures and expressive lyrical themes. Critical reception focused on the band's ability to maintain a nostalgic, organic feeling while embracing the studio clarity that distinguished this phase of their career.
