All-Out War #6

All-Out War #6 is part of the central narrative arc within the long-running Image Comics series The Walking Dead, written by Robert Kirkman and illustrated by Charlie Adlard. The storyline, which spanned issues #115 through #126, serves as a climactic turning point in the series, detailing the escalating conflict between Rick Grimes' coalition and Negan's Saviors. Adlard’s stark, high-contrast black-and-white ink work was instrumental in establishing the visceral, grounded aesthetic that became the visual hallmark of the franchise.

The publication of this arc was notable for its aggressive release schedule, with issues hitting shelves twice a month to maintain the momentum of the unfolding war. The creative intent behind this series was to shift the narrative focus from survival against the undead to the complexities of rebuilding civilization, exploring how different leaders attempt to impose order on a broken world. The arc was generally well-received by fans and critics alike for its fast-paced plot progression and its willingness to commit to significant character casualties during the hostilities.
