Boule & Bill - Ente gut, alles gut! #1

Boule & Bill, created by the Belgian cartoonist Jean Roba in 1959, stands as one of the most beloved pillars of Franco-Belgian comics. The series focuses on the humorous domestic life of a young boy named Boule and his exuberant Cocker Spaniel, Bill. Ente gut, alles gut!, which translates to 'All's well that ends well,' represents a specific iteration in the long-running German-language publication history of these adventures, reflecting the series' enduring appeal across European markets.

Roba’s work is celebrated for its dynamic, expressive line work and the gentle, observational comedy that captures the universal bond between a child and a pet. While the original gags appeared in Spirou magazine, the collected albums were designed to offer a cohesive reading experience. The series was received as a masterpiece of family-friendly storytelling, noted for its balance of slapstick humor and genuine warmth, securing its place as a staple of European comic heritage.
