Ce Vide au Fond de Moi #4

Ce Vide au Fond de Moi is a deeply personal and introspective zine series created by the French artist and illustrator known as Nine Antico. Emerging from the independent zine scene in the early 2010s, the project reflects Antico's signature aesthetic, which blends pop culture nostalgia, vintage graphic styles, and themes of melancholic longing. The work serves as a stylistic exploration of the artist's inner life and cultural influences, utilizing a minimalist, often monochromatic visual vocabulary to evoke specific emotional states.

The fourth issue continues the series' examination of identity and intimacy, maintaining the raw, hand-crafted spirit characteristic of independent self-publishing. Antico's approach prioritizes an unfiltered connection between the creator and the reader, eschewing commercial polish in favor of an evocative, diary-like narrative. Within the context of the wider series, this installment is recognized for its ability to distill complex sentiments into concise visual vignettes, solidifying Antico's reputation for creating evocative, character-driven paper ephemera.
