Choco Puri: Vampire to no Yakusoku #3

Choco Puri: Vampire to no Yakusoku was a manga series serialized in the Japanese shōjo magazine Ribon during the mid-2000s. Published by Shueisha, the series emerged during a period when supernatural themes were highly popular within young girls' comics, blending lighthearted romance with gothic fantasy elements. As the third installment in the collected tankōbon run, this volume continues the narrative arc established by the author, who utilized the classic shōjo art style characterized by expressive, wide-eyed character designs and intricate, decorative paneling.

The series was aimed at a middle-school demographic, focusing on the social and emotional challenges of its protagonists navigating the intersection of school life and vampire mythology. While not as internationally ubiquitous as larger franchise titles, the series remains a representative artifact of the mid-2000s Ribon catalog, which was instrumental in shaping the aesthetic expectations for the demographic at the time. The work was received as a standard entry in the magazine's long-running tradition of combining supernatural suspense with the quintessential shōjo focus on interpersonal relationships.
