Collectie 500 #92

Collectie 500 was a long-running Dutch series of low-cost, mass-market comics and digests primarily distributed throughout the late 20th century. Issue #92 emerged from a period when publishers sought to provide accessible, affordable entertainment by bundling diverse short-form stories and illustrations into a compact, standardized format designed for newsstands and variety stores.

The design of these issues leaned heavily on the established European comic tradition, utilizing a utilitarian aesthetic intended to maximize readability and shelf appeal. While individual issues rarely credited specific illustrators in prominent ways, the series as a whole served as a vital platform for working artists to refine their craft, often featuring a blend of humor, adventure, and serial storytelling that defined the popular culture landscape for younger readers during that era.
