Where it came from
Comic X-Eros, published by Eros Comix throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, emerged as a notable anthology title within the adult underground comics market. The series served as a showcase for established and emerging erotic artists, providing a platform for mature-themed narratives that challenged the strict content regulations of mainstream distributors of the era.
Issue 105 reflects the magazine's long-standing aesthetic of combining narrative-driven adult storytelling with diverse illustrative styles. Like many entries in the series, the issue was designed to cater to a specialized collector base, prioritizing high-contrast ink work and character-focused vignettes that defined the Eros Comix house style under the umbrella of Fantagraphics Books.
