Comic X-Eros #129

Comic X-Eros, published by Eros Comix, emerged during the 1990s as a prominent anthology series within the adult comic book market. This imprint was established by Fantagraphics Books to distribute sexually explicit material, providing a dedicated venue for artists to explore themes that were largely restricted by mainstream distribution channels at the time. Issue 129 reflects the series' commitment to showcasing a diverse range of artistic styles and erotic storytelling tropes that defined the independent underground scene of that era.

The design and content of individual issues in the series typically served as a showcase for various contributors rather than a singular vision. Artists working under the Eros label often utilized the medium to experiment with graphic realism and stylized illustrations, aiming to appeal to a growing collector base interested in mature-themed comics. While the series was often subject to the regulatory and distribution controversies common to adult comics of the period, it remained a consistent platform for creators who operated on the fringes of the traditional comic industry.
