Comic X-Eros #132

Comic X-Eros, an anthology series published by Eros Comix during the 1990s and early 2000s, served as a platform for adult-oriented comics and graphic erotica. Issue 132 emerged during a period when the imprint was heavily focused on distributing high-quality artistic narratives that explored the boundaries of the genre, often highlighting independent creators and diverse illustrative styles.

The design and editorial direction of this series were largely overseen by the Fantagraphics editorial team, who sought to treat erotic storytelling with the same aesthetic rigor as their mainstream graphic novels. By commissioning work from a rotating roster of underground and alternative cartoonists, they aimed to move the medium away from pulp sensibilities toward a more curated, visual-forward experience, though such material remained subject to the specialized distribution channels typical of the adult comics market of that era.
