Cyborgs #2

Cyborgs #2 was released during the mid-1990s, a period defined by the industry-wide fascination with gritty, hyper-detailed aesthetics and futuristic themes. Published as part of a short-lived independent series, this issue served as a vehicle to expand upon the high-concept world established in the debut, focusing on the synthesis of organic and mechanical elements through a lens common to the era's science fiction comics.

The visual direction of the series was heavily influenced by the technical style of late-twentieth-century comic illustration, prioritizing intricate line work and dynamic, albeit dense, page layouts. While the creative team intended to establish a lasting franchise through this character-driven narrative, the series ultimately remains a niche artifact that reflects the specific experimental sensibilities of the independent publishing landscape of that decade.
