Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft #201

Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft, often abbreviated as DDSH, is a long-running German comic book series first published by Ehapa in 1965. Originally conceived as a way to provide German readers with a recurring format for classic Disney material, the series became renowned for its high-quality curation, frequently showcasing the works of legendary cartoonist Carl Barks. Issue #201, released during the series' mature phase, continues the tradition of blending short-form gags with longer, adventure-driven narratives that define the Duck universe.

The design and content of the Sonderheft series were heavily influenced by the editorial decision to prioritize traditional comic book aesthetics, moving away from the more ephemeral look of daily newspaper strips. By the time issue #201 reached newsstands, the series had established a loyal fanbase among collectors who valued its consistent printing standards and focus on the distinct personality-driven storytelling typical of Barks and later contributors like Don Rosa. It remains a staple of German-language Disney fandom, appreciated for its nostalgic appeal and dedication to the classic Duck comic canon.
