Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft #451

Die tollsten Geschichten von Donald Duck – Sonderheft, often referred to as DDSH, is a long-running German comic series published by Ehapa. First launched in 1965, the series was conceived to provide a platform for high-quality Disney comic stories that were often longer or more sophisticated than those featured in the weekly Micky Maus-Magazin. Over the decades, the series became a cornerstone for European Disney fans, showcasing legendary artists such as Carl Barks and Don Rosa, while maintaining a consistent format that focuses on the character-driven humor of Donald Duck and his extended family.

Issue number 451, released in the early 2010s, adheres to the established editorial standard of the series, featuring a curated selection of translated American or European Disney comics. The design follows the classic digest-sized format characterized by a durable cover and a specific layout that has remained a hallmark of the Ehapa publishing house for generations. These issues were designed to be accessible to children while remaining collectable for adults who appreciated the artistic contributions of the various illustrators involved in the Disney stable at the time.
