Do Women Need Sex Entertainment? #2

Do Women Need Sex Entertainment? #2 emerged from the underground comix scene of the mid-1970s, a period defined by the subversion of traditional comic tropes and the frank exploration of adult themes. Published during the era when creators were pushing the boundaries of the Comics Code Authority, the series sought to interrogate societal expectations regarding female desire and the consumption of adult media through a provocative, counter-cultural lens.

The series is noted for its satirical approach, utilizing the raw, unrefined aesthetic typical of the era's independent press to challenge prevailing prudishness. While the specific identity of the creators remains rooted in the anonymity favored by many underground contributors of that time, the work is remembered for its daring commitment to provocative discourse, contributing to the broader movement of sex-positive art that aimed to reclaim autonomy in adult storytelling.
