Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken - Shinsō Sairokuban #10

The Shinsō Sairokuban edition of Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken was published by Shueisha beginning in 2020 to coincide with the release of the modern anime adaptation. This series was designed to be a definitive, high-quality reissue of the original manga written by Riku Sanjo and illustrated by Koji Inada, which first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The reissue features updated cover art by Inada, reflecting his matured style while honoring the iconic character designs that defined the series' initial run.

The editorial intent behind this specific publication was to revitalize interest in the franchise for a new generation of readers while providing long-time fans with a cohesive, shelf-friendly collection. Volume 10 serves as a pivotal installment in this narrative arc, maintaining the classic fantasy adventure elements that solidified the title as a cornerstone of the Dragon Quest expanded universe. The release was well-received for its improved print quality and inclusion of archival material, effectively bridging the gap between the classic manga era and contemporary manga production standards.
