Entre la Reine et Moi #3

Entre la Reine et Moi is a French-language fanzine series that emerged from the intersection of underground feminist literature and queer cultural critique. The third issue continues the series' signature exploration of the tensions between personal identity and established social hierarchies, utilizing a collage-heavy aesthetic that draws heavily from the cut-up technique of the mid-20th century avant-garde. It was produced in small, artisanal batches to foster a sense of intimacy and exclusivity within the francophone zine community.

The design of this issue reflects an intentional commitment to tactile, low-fi aesthetics, favoring xeroxed imagery and manual typography over digital polish. By blending personal narrative with historical allusion, the creators sought to reclaim marginalized voices often excluded from mainstream French literary discourse. Upon its release, the issue was well-received within specialized circles for its uncompromising tone and its success in establishing a distinct visual language that challenged the glossy standards of contemporary commercial publishing.
