Entre la Reine et Moi #4

Entre la Reine et Moi is a series of independent French comics created by the artist known as Pénélope Bagieu. This work emerged during a period in the late 2000s and early 2010s when personal, blog-style graphic storytelling became a significant cultural trend in France, allowing artists to document their daily lives and observations with a mix of humor and intimate reflection.

The design of the series centers on Bagieu’s signature illustrative style, which utilizes fluid, expressive line work and a minimalist aesthetic to convey character personality and comedic timing. The series was well-received for its relatable tone and its departure from the more traditional, long-form narratives found in mainstream French bande dessinée, firmly establishing Bagieu as a notable voice in contemporary web-based comic journalism.
