Eriko-kun, Ocha!! #4

Eriko-kun, Ocha!! is a series of gag manga strips created by manga artist and illustrator Eriko Itō. The series emerged from the vibrant independent manga scene of the late 20th century, typically published in a zine format. It reflects the era's focus on character-driven, slice-of-life humor, utilizing a minimalist aesthetic to convey the daily eccentricities and humorous mishaps of its titular protagonist.

The fourth issue continues the series' established tradition of brief, observational comedy vignettes. Itō's design choices for the issue prioritize clean line work and expressive character silhouettes, which were hallmarks of her broader artistic style. While the series remained a niche publication, it was well-regarded among collectors of contemporary self-published manga for its consistent tone and the approachable charm of its central character.
