Fate/Grand Order: Chaldea Scrapbook #1

The Chaldea Scrapbook series was produced as part of the extensive merchandise line supporting Fate/Grand Order, the widely popular mobile role-playing game developed by Delightworks and published by Aniplex. These scrapbooks serve as supplementary art and lore collections, designed to provide fans with a curated look at the game's expansive cast of characters and the intricate narrative arcs that define the Chaldea organization. The inaugural issue was created to capture the aesthetic spirit of the game's early chapters, focusing on the visual design philosophy that blends historical figures with futuristic anime stylings.

The visual direction for the series emphasizes a scrapbook-style layout, utilizing official character art, promotional illustrations, and behind-the-scenes sketches. It was intended to function as both a collector’s keepsake and a reference guide, reflecting the highly detail-oriented design culture common in Japanese media franchises. Upon its release, the first issue was well-received by the dedicated Fate community, who valued the compilation of high-quality assets that had previously only appeared in transient in-game events or digital-only formats.
