FemForce #62

FemForce issue 62 was published in 1993 by AC Comics, a company founded by Bill Black that became known for its commitment to the Golden Age style of comic book storytelling. The series focuses on a team of super-powered women fighting against various threats, a concept that evolved from Black's earlier independent publications in the late 1970s and early 1980s. By the time this issue was released, the title had established a dedicated niche following among fans of classic adventure tropes and retro-inspired character designs.

The visual aesthetic of FemForce is deeply rooted in the artistic traditions of mid-century comics, characterized by bold lines and an emphasis on heroic physique. Bill Black, who often served as writer, editor, and lead artist for the series, aimed to replicate the sense of wonder found in earlier comic eras while maintaining a distinct continuity for his expanding roster of characters. The issue reflects the consistent house style of AC Comics, which prioritized character-driven narratives within a self-contained, independent publishing framework.
