Gøg og Gokke #197112

Gøg og Gokke, the Danish name for the legendary comedy duo Laurel and Hardy, enjoyed immense popularity in Scandinavia through a long-running comic book series. The issue designated 197112 belongs to the publication run from the early 1970s, a period when the duo's films were still staples of television broadcasting and the comic format served as a primary medium for keeping their slapstick brand of humor alive for a new generation of readers.

The illustrations and storylines in these Danish editions were often produced by international syndicates or adapted from existing European comic houses, focusing on the trademark visual gags and mild-mannered domestic chaos associated with the pair. By the 1970s, the design aesthetic leaned into clean, mid-century comic paneling that emphasized Ollie's frustration and Stan's befuddled optimism, ensuring the work remained accessible and familiar to children and nostalgic adult fans alike.
