Himesama-kun wo Omamori Shimasu! #2

Himesama-kun wo Omamori Shimasu! is a shōjo manga series written and illustrated by mangaka Ririko Yoshioka. Published in the early 2000s, the series fits within the tradition of gender-bending romantic comedies popular in manga magazines of the era, focusing on themes of identity and youthful relationships. The narrative follows a protagonist who must navigate the complexities of protecting a princess while dealing with the humorous complications of their own circumstances.

The second volume continues the established art style characteristic of Yoshioka’s work, which prioritizes expressive character designs and soft, flowing paneling typical of the shōjo genre. During its initial publication, the series was marketed to adolescent readers looking for lighthearted fantasy elements intertwined with high-school romance. Like many mid-tier series from this period, it served as a steady contribution to the genre's canon without necessarily achieving the widespread cultural footprint of long-running shōnen epics.
