Historias Completas de El Vibora #21

Historias Completas de El Vibora was a spinoff publication of the legendary Spanish underground comics magazine El Vibora, which emerged in the late 1970s as a pillar of the countercultural movement following the end of the Franco dictatorship. Launched to showcase longer-form narratives and complete story arcs that could not always be contained within the monthly magazine's format, this series provided a dedicated space for the raw, transgressive, and politically charged aesthetic that defined the Ediciones La Cúpula imprint.

Issue number 21 reflects the magazine's commitment to the 'comix' style—an European iteration of the American underground movement characterized by gritty social commentary and bold, visceral illustration. The design philosophy of the series prioritized artistic autonomy for its contributors, favoring expressive, often provocative visual storytelling over mainstream sensibilities. While specific editorial records for individual issues remain part of the broader history of the magazine's editorial collective, the series is widely recognized by scholars of comics as an essential archive of the democratic transition period in Spain.
