Historias Completas de El Vibora #34

Historias Completas de El Víbora was a long-running anthology series published by La Cúpula in Spain, which functioned as a companion to their primary magazine, El Víbora. Emerging from the vibrant and transgressive 'movida madrileña' era, these volumes were curated to showcase complete stories from the magazine’s most prominent underground comix artists. Issue 34 served as a digest of this countercultural output, maintaining the gritty, satirical, and often provocative aesthetic that defined the publishing house’s commitment to adult-oriented alternative comics.

The series design was heavily influenced by the raw, ink-heavy styles of creators such as Nazario, Max, and Gallardo. By repackaging serialized narratives into standalone volumes, La Cúpula aimed to offer readers a more cohesive experience of the fragmented storytelling found in the monthly magazine. These issues were received as essential artifacts of the Spanish underground scene, appreciated for their refusal to adhere to traditional editorial censorship and for their dedication to dark humor and social critique.
