Hotaru no Yomeiri #10

Hotaru no Yomeiri, or Firefly Wedding, began serialization in 2023 within the digital magazine Ura Sunday. Created by the manga artist Oreco Tachibana, the series explores a complex, dark-romance dynamic between a young woman from a wealthy family and a contract killer. The work is noted for its gothic aesthetic and the psychological tension woven into its character-driven narrative, reflecting a broader trend in contemporary shojo-adjacent thrillers that balance traditional romantic tropes with high-stakes peril.

The tenth issue continues the series' progression, maintaining the visual signature that Tachibana established at the outset: clean, emotive linework paired with striking, shadow-heavy panels that highlight the atmospheric nature of the story. As with earlier entries, the design prioritizes character intimacy and the unsettling power dynamics central to the plot. The series has received consistent attention from readers for its deliberate pacing and the stylistic evolution of its central relationship, solidifying its place in the modern digital manga landscape.
