Hourman #15

Hourman issue 15, released in early 2000, is part of the DC Comics series that explored the legacy of the android version of the character, Tyler-7. The series was written by Tom Peyer and often featured interior art by Rags Morales, who played a significant role in establishing the visual identity of this iteration of the hero. The narrative during this period was noted for its focus on the character's journey toward humanity and his complex relationship with his creator's legacy, moving away from traditional superhero tropes to explore themes of time and identity.

The art style of this series generally favored a grounded, emotional approach that complemented the contemplative tone of Peyer's writing. As part of a series that developed a dedicated cult following despite a relatively short run, the book is remembered by comic historians for its distinct voice within the DC Universe of the late nineties and early 2000s. It remains a notable example of DC's willingness to experiment with secondary characters through long-form character studies.
