Il Giornalino #v. 84 no. 29

Il Giornalino is a long-running Italian weekly magazine for children and adolescents, published by the Society of St. Paul. Established in 1924, it became a cornerstone of Italian illustrated literature, offering a blend of educational content, religious guidance, and serialized comics. By the time of the 2007 issues, the publication had shifted to reflect contemporary interests while maintaining its traditional commitment to family-oriented moral themes and high-quality artistic contributions.

The design and editorial direction during this era aimed to bridge the gap between traditional print media and the increasing influence of television and digital entertainment. The magazine famously served as a platform for prominent Italian illustrators and writers, such as Sergio Toppi and Benito Jacovitti, who helped establish its reputation for artistic diversity. This specific issue reflects the magazine's role as both a cultural repository for classic storytelling and a showcase for the vibrant, character-driven aesthetics that defined its later years.
