Il Giornalino #v. 84 no. 46

Il Giornalino is a long-standing Italian weekly magazine founded in 1924 by the Society of Saint Paul. It was created with the specific intent of providing wholesome, educational, and morally uplifting reading material for young people, distinguishing itself from other comics of the era through its focus on Christian values and high-quality storytelling. Over its decades of publication, the magazine served as a cornerstone of Italian youth literature, balancing serialized adventures and humor with historical and religious content.

The publication became known for collaborating with some of the most respected figures in the Italian comics industry, including illustrators and writers like Hugo Pratt and Sergio Toppi. By the time this specific issue from the magazine's 84th year of publication was produced, the editorial direction maintained its commitment to blending classic artistic styles with contemporary themes. The magazine was widely respected for its consistent production standards and its ability to act as a bridge between traditional Catholic education and the evolving medium of graphic storytelling.
