Il Giornalino #v. 90 no. 41

Il Giornalino is a long-standing Italian weekly magazine for children and adolescents, published by the Periodici San Paolo group. First established in 1924, it became a cornerstone of Italian comics and educational literature, maintaining a distinct editorial voice that emphasized moral values alongside adventure, humor, and historical storytelling. By the time volume 90 was being published, the magazine had transitioned through many decades of graphic innovation, serving as a platform for prominent Italian illustrators and writers to reach generations of young readers.

The 2013 issues, falling within the 90th volume, continued the magazine's tradition of blending serialized comics with informative articles. During this period, the design language of the magazine remained anchored in a classic, approachable aesthetic intended to bridge the gap between traditional print media and modern youth culture. The editorial team during this era focused on retaining the magazine's heritage as an instrument for cultural formation while incorporating contemporary themes, ensuring that the legacy of its founders was preserved amidst a rapidly digitizing publishing landscape.
