Indiana Jones and the Sargasso Pirates #4

Indiana Jones and the Sargasso Pirates was a four-part comic book miniseries published by Dark Horse Comics starting in 1994. Released during a period when the character's popularity was being sustained through literature and licensed media, the series was written by Archie Goodwin and illustrated by Kerry Gammill. It serves as an adventure set in the established continuity of the film franchise, intended to capture the pulp-style spirit of the 1930s cinematic serials that originally inspired Indiana Jones.

The creative team aimed to replicate the high-stakes, globe-trotting tone of the films, focusing on archaeological intrigue and supernatural threats. Dark Horse Comics had acquired the rights to produce Indiana Jones material in the 1990s, and this miniseries was part of their effort to expand the narrative scope of the character. The fourth issue concluded the arc, receiving moderate critical attention from comic enthusiasts for its faithful adherence to the visual style of the iconic protagonist.
