Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san #2

Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, volume 2, is part of a Japanese four-panel comedy manga series created by the artist Kuzushiro. It was serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine starting in 2011, with the collected tankōbon volumes released to satisfy reader interest in the growing subgenre of high-concept yuri comedy. The series focuses on the humorous, contrasting personalities of its two protagonists, Yachiyo Inugami and Suzu Nekoyama, whose names and behaviors whimsically reflect the archetypal traits of dogs and cats.

Kuzushiro’s design for the series emphasizes expressive, simplified character art suited for the yonkoma format, which relies on quick pacing and punchline-driven narrative beats. The second volume continues the series' exploration of social anxiety and personality clashes through a lighthearted, observational lens. Upon its release, the series gained enough traction to be adapted into a short-form anime television series, marking it as a notable entry within the niche but dedicated landscape of contemporary slice-of-life manga.
