Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san #4

Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, authored by the artist Kuzushiro, began its serialization in the manga magazine Comic Yuri Hime in 2011. The series explores the unconventional friendship and eventual romance between Yachiyo Inugami, a dog-like personality, and Suzu Nekoyama, who possesses cat-like traits. The work is recognized for its lighthearted slapstick humor and rapid-fire dialogue, characteristic of the 'four-panel' or yonkoma style that emphasizes punchy, situational comedy within a domestic setting.

The fourth volume serves as a continuation of the established narrative arc, gathering serialized chapters that maintain the series' hallmark dynamic between the two protagonists. Kuzushiro’s character designs are noted for their clean, expressive aesthetic, which effectively balances the series' comedic tone with its heartfelt yuri subtext. Upon its release, the volume contributed to the growing popularity of the series, which eventually inspired an anime adaptation, further cementing the manga's place within the contemporary slice-of-life genre.
