Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san #5

Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san, authored by Kuzushiro, began its serialization in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2011. The series centers on the comedic and budding romantic dynamic between Yachiyo Inugami, a dog-like personality, and Suzu Nekoyama, who exhibits cat-like traits. The fifth volume continues the lighthearted, episodic exploration of their school life and evolving relationship, maintaining the series' signature gag-manga pacing and expressive character designs.

Kuzushiro’s artistic style in this volume reinforces the series' focus on contrasting personalities, using sharp, minimalist layouts to emphasize the characters' physical quirks and reactive humor. Within the broader context of modern yuri comedy manga, this work is noted for its ability to balance slapstick elements with sweet, character-driven moments. The series gained enough popularity during its run to receive a short-form anime adaptation, cementing its place as a recognizable entry in the genre.
