Justice Society of America #3

Justice Society of America #3, published in 2007, represents a core entry in the second volume of the JSA series, which was written by Geoff Johns. This era of the series sought to synthesize the history of the Justice Society with contemporary narrative stakes, focusing on the generational transition between legacy heroes and their successors. The issue continues the narrative arcs established in the relaunch, maintaining the series' reputation for balancing large-scale superhero action with deep character-driven drama.

The interior art for this period was primarily provided by Dale Eaglesham, whose work is noted for its clean lines and commitment to classic character aesthetics. His visual approach was aimed at grounding the often-fantastical members of the JSA in a world that felt tangible and historic. Upon its release, the series was well received for its ability to honor the lengthy history of DC's first super-team while remaining accessible to newer readers, ultimately serving as a cornerstone of the post-Infinite Crisis DC landscape.
