Killer Peter #4

Killer Peter is a dark, experimental comic book series written and illustrated by Leandro Fernandez. Emerging from the independent comic scene, the work is noted for its aggressive, gritty aesthetic and its subversion of traditional superhero tropes. The series was developed as a creator-owned project, allowing Fernandez to fully realize a bleak, uncompromising narrative style that stands in stark contrast to the polished visuals often found in mainstream superhero publications.

Issue number 4 continues the series' focus on a protagonist navigating a hostile, morally grey world. Fernandez, an artist well-regarded for his work on titles like The Punisher, employed a raw, high-contrast visual approach to emphasize the visceral nature of the story. The work is frequently cited by enthusiasts of the medium for its tonal consistency and the way it pushes the boundaries of the revenge-thriller genre within the independent comic book landscape.
