Kimi ga Kantoku! #3

Kimi ga Kantoku!, meaning You Are the Manager!, was a niche Japanese hobbyist magazine series focused on sports simulation gaming, particularly baseball management titles popular in the 1990s. The third issue arrived during the height of the Super Famicom era, a period when developers were increasingly focused on intricate statistical modeling and team-building mechanics that appealed to dedicated fans of Japanese professional baseball.

The publication was designed as a guidebook and commentary vessel for enthusiasts, featuring layout designs common to the era's specialized gaming periodicals. It functioned as both a tactical manual for optimizing player rosters and a piece of cultural documentation for a community that valued deep mechanical mastery, providing readers with insights into game balance and hidden strategies that were not typically found in standard instruction manuals.
