La Zorra y el Cuervo #114

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series centered on the classic Aesop fable, adapted to reflect local culture and humor. Published during the mid-20th century, the series served as a cornerstone of Cuban sequential art, blending anthropomorphic storytelling with satirical social commentary. It became a cultural touchstone for generations of readers, maintaining a distinct visual identity that drew on the traditions of classic newspaper comic strips.

The character designs and narrative style of the series were influenced by international animation and comic standards while remaining deeply rooted in the Cuban aesthetic of the period. Issue 114 represents the established continuity of this long-running publication, featuring the signature interactions between the cunning fox and the often-naive crow. The series was widely received as both an entertainment staple for children and a clever vehicle for lighthearted moral instruction, cementing its place in the history of Latin American comics.
