La Zorra y el Cuervo #125

La Zorra y el Cuervo, or The Fox and the Crow, was a long-running Cuban comic magazine published by Editorial Pablo de la Torriente. It emerged during the mid-20th century as a cornerstone of Cuban popular culture, drawing heavy stylistic influence from the comedic fables of Aesop and later evolving into a medium that featured diverse strip formats, ranging from slapstick humor to social commentary often reflected through the lens of political satire.

The character designs were heavily inspired by classic animation aesthetics, favoring expressive, fluid linework that prioritized character interaction and visual gags. Issue 125 reflects the magazine's established editorial voice, which aimed to provide accessible, lighthearted entertainment to a broad audience. Over the decades, the publication became a significant archival piece for comic enthusiasts interested in the evolution of Latin American illustration and sequential storytelling traditions.
