La Zorra y el Cuervo #205

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series that emerged in the 1960s, adapting the classic Aesop fable of the fox and the crow into a localized, satirical context. Produced during a period when the Cuban comic industry was evolving to reflect socialist cultural values, the series became a staple of children's literature in the country, known for its distinct art style that blended traditional fable archetypes with mid-century graphic sensibilities.

Issue #205 belongs to the long-running serial publication overseen by the Editorial Juvenil and later the Editorial Pablo de la Torriente. The design and characterizations were heavily influenced by the work of various Cuban illustrators who sought to modernize the narrative through humor and didactic storytelling. It is regarded today as a significant piece of Caribbean pop culture history, documenting the aesthetic and pedagogical priorities of Cuban graphic arts over several decades.
