La Zorra y el Cuervo #218

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series centered on the classic Aesop-inspired rivalry between a clever fox and a resourceful crow. Published by the Editorial Juvenil, the series was a cornerstone of mid-century Cuban pop culture, serving as a staple of childhood reading for generations and reflecting a whimsical, character-driven storytelling style that defined the era's regional comic tradition.

The character designs and narrative tone were heavily influenced by the golden age of anthropomorphic animation, emphasizing expressive physical comedy and moralistic humor. Issue 218 is part of the long-running serial publication that maintained high popularity through its consistent art direction and accessible, lighthearted plots. It is now highly regarded by collectors as an important artifact of Latin American comic book history, capturing the aesthetic sensibilities of the publishing house during its most active period.
