La Zorra y el Cuervo #27

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series that gained significant popularity during the mid-20th century. Adapted from the classic Aesop's fable, the series reimagined the titular characters with a distinct artistic style influenced by international animation and comic trends. It became a staple of Cuban pop culture, often blending satirical social commentary with the lighthearted antics of the fox and the crow.

Issue number 27 emerged during the series' height of domestic production, a period defined by the efforts of local illustrators to create accessible, recurring narratives for Cuban youth. The design of these issues relied on expressive character work and clear, sequential layouts that emphasized physical humor and moral lessons. It remains a cherished piece of Cuban cultural heritage, representing a specific era of publishing that prioritized character-driven storytelling within a challenging socio-economic landscape.
