La Zorra y el Cuervo #25

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a beloved Cuban humor magazine that drew its primary inspiration from the Aesop fable of the fox and the crow. Established in the mid-1960s, the publication served as a vital platform for Cuban graphic satire, blending social commentary with lighthearted wit. Issue number 25 sits within a period where the magazine was cementing its role in the cultural landscape, providing a consistent venue for artists to explore political and social nuances through caricature and comic strips.

The artistic direction of the magazine was defined by a collective of prominent Cuban illustrators who emphasized expressive, clean line work typical of the era's socialist graphic design. The team aimed for a balance between biting satire and accessible entertainment for a broad audience. While specific credits for issue 25 are part of the larger ensemble of the publication's history, the series is widely regarded by collectors as a significant representative of mid-century Latin American independent press and illustrative style.
