La Zorra y el Cuervo #85

La Zorra y el Cuervo was a prominent Cuban comic book series established in the mid-20th century, heavily inspired by the classic Aesop fable. The series was produced during a period when the Cuban publishing industry, particularly under Editorial Juvenil, focused on providing accessible, illustrated storytelling for a younger generation. These comics often blended moralistic fables with localized humor, reflecting the cultural landscape of the era.

The character designs were heavily influenced by international animation styles of the mid-century, aiming to create a recognizable and enduring visual identity for the cunning fox and the often gullible crow. Issue #85 represents the continuation of this long-running series, which remained a staple of Cuban newsstands for decades. While the specific illustrator for every individual issue was often part of a collective studio effort rather than a solo auteur, the series is widely regarded as a significant artifact of Cuban print culture and sequential art history.
