Länder von Ogon #6

Länder von Ogon is a science-fantasy comic series created by the French author and illustrator Crisse, first serialized in the 1980s. The series reflects the imaginative peak of European speculative fiction during that period, blending planetary romance with ornate, detailed character designs. Issue #6 serves as a continuation of the epic journey across the titular world, maintaining the series' reputation for lush, atmospheric world-building that defined the aesthetic of the French-Belgian comics scene at the time.

The visual language of the series is heavily influenced by the distinct art style of Crisse, who focused on dynamic compositions and an ethereal, high-fantasy tone. Upon its release, the series was well-received by fans of the adventure-fantasy genre for its refusal to adhere to traditional hard sci-fi constraints, instead prioritizing mythic storytelling and expansive landscape design. This specific issue remains a sought-after piece for collectors documenting the evolution of contemporary European comic art.
