Le Livre des Multivers - Superstring #4

Le Livre des Multivers: Superstring #4 emerged as a segment of a broader experimental anthology series exploring the theoretical physics of the multiverse through a science-fiction lens. Published to capitalize on the rising interest in high-concept speculative fiction within the European graphic novel market, the series was designed to blend complex cosmological concepts with traditional narrative structures. Each issue functioned as a standalone entry in a fragmented, sprawling cosmology, intended to challenge readers with non-linear storytelling and dense, analytical exposition.

The artistic direction for the Superstring series emphasized minimalist, clinical visuals that contrasted with the volatile nature of the stories. Illustrators were tasked with moving away from classic superhero aesthetics, opting instead for architectural line work and muted color palettes that suggested the cold, mathematical reality of multiple dimensions. While the series was praised by critics for its intellectual ambition and unique aesthetic departure, it remained a niche work, largely celebrated by dedicated followers of hard science fiction rather than reaching a mainstream audience.
