Los Hijos de la Familia Shiunji #4

Los Hijos de la Familia Shiunji, serialized as Shiunji-ke no Kodomo-tachi, is a manga series written and illustrated by Reiji Miyajima. Following the success of his previous work, Rent-a-Girlfriend, Miyajima launched this series in 2022 within the pages of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine. The story centers on the seven siblings of the affluent Shiunji family, focusing on the comedic and emotional dynamics that emerge when the eldest son discovers that he and his sisters are not biologically related, despite being raised as siblings.

The fourth volume continues the series' exploration of domestic tension and romantic intrigue, maintaining the polished, character-focused art style characteristic of Miyajima's portfolio. In designing the volume, the editorial team emphasized the distinct personality traits of the siblings, utilizing detailed character portraits on the covers to highlight the contrast between the individual family members. Upon release, the series has been noted for its premise, which leans into traditional romantic comedy tropes while attempting to ground them in the specific setting of a high-status household.
