Los Hijos de la Familia Shiunji #1

Los Hijos de la Familia Shiunji, or The Shiunji Siblings, is a manga series created by Reiji Miyajima, the author famously known for Rent-a-Girlfriend. Debuting in early 2022 in Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine, the series was conceived as a romantic comedy with a dramatic twist, focusing on seven siblings who grew up together under the impression they were related, only to discover there is no blood relation between them, setting the stage for complex interpersonal dynamics.

The aesthetic of the first volume follows the high-fidelity, character-driven style characteristic of modern seinen rom-coms. Miyajima’s design choices emphasize distinct visual personalities for each of the seven siblings, aiming to balance traditional archetypal tropes with a sophisticated, polished art style. Upon its initial serialization and subsequent volume release, the work received significant attention from fans of the author's previous output, noted particularly for its unconventional premise and elevated visual presentation.
