Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden #4

Magia Record: Mahō Shōjo Madoka☆Magica Gaiden #4 is part of the manga adaptation of the mobile role-playing game of the same name, which serves as a spin-off to the seminal 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The manga began serialization in 2018 in Manga Time Kirara Forward, aiming to translate the game's expansive narrative—which follows a new protagonist, Iroha Tamaki, as she navigates the city of Kamihama to find her missing sister—into a traditional serialized print format.

The adaptation is illustrated by Fuji Fuji, who worked to maintain the distinctive, unsettling aesthetic established by Gekidan Inu Curry in the original series while adapting the game's complex roster of characters to a cohesive monthly format. As the fourth volume in the series, this entry continues the exploration of the 'Rumors' and the deeper mysteries behind the witches in Kamihama. It was received as a functional companion piece for fans of the franchise, serving both as an entry point for new readers and a supplementary narrative for those already familiar with the game's mechanics.
